Exhibition

Katharina Fritsch and Alexej Koschkarow’s chamber piece creates an atmospheric, stage-like realm where their sculptures and drawings condense to form an intense visual environment.

Concept

Schaulager was founded in 2003 with the aim of combining the storage and display of contemporary art.

Collection

Since the 2003 opening of Schaulager, the works from the collection have been openly and visibly stored on site.

Building

Guided by the Schaulager concept, the unique building type combines storage and exhibition spaces.
